Vacuum hose

  Hoffman & Lamson offers a wide variety of vacuum hoses, including extrusion-resistant plastics, flexible plastics, heavy-duty rubbers, heavy-duty corrugated plastics, and vinylife. Each hose has unique characteristics that make it suitable for a variety of applications.
Description
Extrusion Resistant Plastic
  A lightweight, flexible, crush-resistant hose that is extremely well suited for plant management applications and for conveying lightweight, non-abrasive materials. The hose is made of an ethylene-acetate-acetone copolymer and is not conductive, so it is not recommended for applications where static buildup occurs. Not available in grounded version.
Flexible Plastic
  There are two types of flexible plastic hose: 1. Flexible Plastic; and 2. Type F PVC (heavy duty). These hoses are lightweight, flexible, wire-reinforced hoses for plant management or applications requiring repeated bending. High-strength reinforcing yarns are used, and the layers of ethylene-vinyl acetate or polyvinyl chloride (larger sizes) are interspersed with coated helical spring steel wires.
Heavy Duty Rubber
  Three types of heavy-duty rubber hose are available: 1. smooth 2. corrugated look and 3. RS type rubber. Thick-walled, wire-reinforced rubber hose is ideal for pneumatic conveying systems that handle abrasive materials. Special EPDM compounds and smooth bores resist abrasion for longer service life. Heavy-duty coil spring wires with fabric reinforcement ensure greater flexibility.
Heavy-Duty Corrugated Plastics
  Heavy-duty corrugated PVC hose is available in two types: 1. Heavy-duty corrugated PVC and 2. HC-type clear PVC (heavy-duty). These hoses are best suited for food grade, clear material transfer hoses for pneumatic conveying systems handling dry powders and granules. Equipped with a corrugated sheath for increased flexibility and a smooth bore to avoid material buildup, reduce abrasion and minimize pressure loss.
Vinylife
  Vinylife vacuum hoses are available in two types: 1. Vinylife and 2. Vinyl Foam Type VF (heavy duty). These are medium weight, versatile, flexible, steel wire reinforced hoses. They are corrosion, oil and abrasion resistant and have a smooth bore. Constructed with a vinyl porous foam wall, they are reinforced with multiple strands of steel wire and braided with nylon cord.
